Rather than being afraid and defensive, and protesting the unknowns and uncertainties that life presents, appreciate the wonder in being in an unfamiliar place!

The effort to refute another’s beliefs or convictions Is borne out of a lack of confidence in one’s own professed position and a misplaced fear of not knowing. When you can be present, unfamiliarity and not knowing brings the excitement of new experiences and the prospect of learning new things, rather than a fear of the unknown.

Instead of indulging in a fear of “this is not my familiar home place, oh no, I don’t know where I am”, experiencing anxiety energy, and going into a protest of unfamiliar territory, indulge in this blissful opportunity to appreciate the wonder in being in an unfamiliar place!

Love, Dex
