Nothing compares with the freedom of having no need to assume a posture of attitude, status or emotion, no concern about how you are received by others. It isn’t that it makes no difference what people think of you, it’s that it is a given that we are all welcome to be, as we naturally are, as we naturally feel. This is the way to be to be. It is exhausting to continually expend all that energy in an effort to be safe from unacceptance. In my therapeutic spiritual counseling sessions, we are always progressing to a more expansive ability to simply be present.
