There is no “structure” to the mind. It does not conform to any stated model, “unconscious”, “subconscious”, “reactive”, “id” “ego”, or “super ego”. It is your personalized accumulation of all the held onto feelings, memories, perspectives, attitudes, perceptions and ways of being that each of us creates and or adopts and has invested in. All of these are an inferior means of experiencing and recognizing life. There is no form of projecting of “what is”, no system of “how to be” that is a worthy replacement for being present, i.e., allowing oneself to recognize and have what is present. Growth in presence largely involves reexamining all that we have invested ourselves in, so as to let these curtains drop away to reveal the light.
