There is no such thing as a generic occurrence. Every moment, every circumstance is unique in all it’s factors and characteristics, and so cannot be adequately, fairly or accurately explained or dealt with through the use of a attitude, policy or system of responding. There is no substitute for being open to what is uniquely presenting in the moment. You can be truly present, or you can be asleep at the wheel, and miss out on all the color and beauty of the moment.
