What traps you in shock and anxiety is the feeling that there are things that you must hold onto, that you must not lose, the idea that there is something that you cannot be without, that is not readily available. It is the most dangerous of all illusions. Your happiness, loving and being loved, and continuing to be are dependent on nothing other then your willingness to grant yourself permission to have these. Do not indulge in the painful trap of playing the game of your desires depending on anything other than your effortless will. It’s a terrible game, and there are no winners. It is the single source of all fear and anxiety. Everything is here, everything is at your disposal, allow it to be recognized, felt, and enjoyed, and encourage others to do the same, and with that, we all win.
