We all need to give ourselves permission to recognize our own greatness, brilliance, and beauty. When you can and will really give yourself permission to have these qualities, they open up in you. It is not about being better than anyone else; indeed, it is when you can grant the same to others, in their own particular ways.
Perhaps the nastiest attitude anyone could take or impose is the false idea that it is “egotistical” to recognize your own greatness, brilliance, and beauty. It is essential to do so, and you can never be whole without it. Just as you can never be whole without granting the same to others.
And having weaknesses, vulnerabilities, and in general, more things to yet process and to learn takes away from the qualities within you not at all.
