Be an empty vessel, create a vacuum to be filled with the client’s world. Generate nothing, present nothing, in recognition of the fact of “nature abhors a vacuum”, and thus invite and attract all that needs to be drawn forth from the client, effortlessly and without any attitude, other than love and acceptance.

There is a saying “Empty vessels make the most sound”. Dex is completely correct in what he says here, a brilliant way of describing the ideal situation for a consultant, but to abbreviate it to five words you could say: “Be a silent empty vessel”.
Most consultants talk too much!
