The effort to refute another’s beliefs or convictions Is borne out of a lack of confidence in one’s own professed position and a misplaced fear of not knowing. When you can be present, unfamiliarity and not knowing brings the excitement of new experiences and the prospect of learning new things, rather than a fear of the unknown.
Instead of indulging in a fear of “this is not my familiar home place, oh no, I don’t know where I am”, experiencing anxiety energy, and going into a protest of unfamiliar territory, indulge in this blissful opportunity to appreciate the wonder in being in an unfamiliar place!
Love, Dex
