“The questions you ask me in these sessions are very profound…”

My purpose in asking a specific question in a session isn’t merely for them to give me an answer, or for me to hear their answer. It isn’t even necessarily for them to come up with an answer. The purpose of my posing a question to my client in the session is to help guide them to recognize something within them to inspire the changes that they desire. Said to me by one client this week: “The questions you ask me in these sessions are very profound; your question inspires me to look at my life in a new way”
